Relax lang gud.. Mura man kag nangaway.. Hehe. Maybe u woke up on the wrong side of the bed napud sah? Hehe.. Just kidding. Besides the "client2 thing example" nimo would only apply IF your are making money najud through ur cam. Of course, kung ikaw ang gi duol sa client, u shud do everything to satisfy ur client's needs and wants. Kwarta nagud na. Pero dili nana applicable for those people nga i hobby/lingaw2 lang ang photography. Applicable rana sa mga gi NEGOSYO ang camera. So depende rajud na sa photographer kung pang hobby2/lingaw2 etc lang ba na ilang cam or pang NEGOSYO jud. Depende rajud na sa photographer kung unsa iyang gusto. Dba?

I could see nga murag hate jud kaau nimo ang mga "purists". Hehe. I too dont like "purists" (not because IT ko ha) kay bsag watermark nlng di jud mu butang kay they want their pictures to be as PURE as it could be. Sa bagay ila sad na. Dili btaw kita ang ma biyaan sa panahon.. hehe.. Though camera and photoshop go together, pero IMHO, it wud be better to click more on cam than on mouse kay we're photographers baya. NOT PHOTO EDITORS. IMHO na ha(In my humble opinion)

That is a real photographer FOR ME. More on shutter than on mouse. (Pero naa jud ng photo editor. Ang2 di jud na mawa. Pero MORE lng jud sa shutter)

client thing doesn't mean nga mo make ka og money all the time... the models you shoot can also be your clients bisan wala paka mubayad or wala ka bayari... you shoot him/her or anything in exchange of... (depende unsa inyo nasabutan) so, pwede ra guihapon na siya matawag og "client"... bisan hobby pana... you yourself is a "client" of your images/photos, kay you take photos in exchange of satisfying yourself or your shutter itch or your love for the art of photography or whatever...

i don't hate "purist", i just don't believe in them or that they exist... mugna2x rana siya sa mga "Losers" ani nga field... coz i believe in photography "purist" doesn't exist (bahalag against mo ani), bisan pa sa unang panahon or sa unang camera/film naimbento, coz somehow all images goes through "processing" to come out with an output... "pure" images are captured by your eyes and stored in your memory and keep in your heart and not thru a viewfinder or with a click of a shutter(dili ni google, mugna2x ra ni nako... hehehehe), what you see is what you get ingon pa nila... and IMHO "photographers" is synonymous with "photo editors" (para sa ako lang hap), whether with a click of a mouse or through chemicals...

"photo editors" is different from "photo manipulators" ... "photo manipulation" is different genre of art, it just so happen that they use photos to manipulate/collage/montage/remove/erase/add/subtract/multiply/divide or whatever they may call it, which other still call art, and some pipol still call it photo... not all but kasagaran "photo manipulators" karon kay photographers or venture in photography kay mahal man ang stock photos og dilikado pa makiha kung mugamit ka og photo sa lain unya imo e manipulate nya dili ka mananghid ... mao na ang uban "nasuya" lang siguro mao na "purist pipol" ni exist na dayon...

mao rana akong conspiracy theory... og pasensiya kung wrong akong uban grammar (basin naa na sad "purist" nga mga english writers nagbasa ani nga thread)

I really thot u hate them("purists") after calling them "BS". Hehe.. (Btaw, basin naa mga "purists" dri nga nagbasa2 pud nya nag hilom2 lang. hehe..) Yeah ur right. "photographers" is synonymous with "photo editors". They always go together. They're INSEPARABLE. But sa akong side, mu edit ko pero not to the extent nga mas maglabi/magdaghan ang edit kaysa pag shoot. Mawala ang essence/use sa DSLR ana. If maglabi ko sa edit kaysa pag shoot, palit nlng ko ug P&S nga camera nya daogon nlng nako sa edit tanan outputs nako. Dba? Like what ive said, we're photographers raba. Hehe.. Dapat jud diay ka tawagon ug MASTER bro! hehe.. pero like what uve said sa pikas thread, "BRO" would be enough.. hehe.. ok BRO! tnx for that.. =))

OT: Bisag mag binuntagay pa kag edit ser, makuha kaha sa imong P&S ang resulta sa dSLR?.. Can your P&S give the same DOF, bokeh or zoom from a dSLR?...

Wa ko naka-minos sa P&S ha, murag exag lang gyud paminawn ng "Kuha nalang kog P&S instead of a dSLR, then daogon sa nalang sa edit.." Unrealistic kaayo.. aw unless you can prove me wrong with your edited P&S shots..

sa bagay, that's ur own opinion sad. u do have a point. ang ako lang is this, IMHO i find it bati kung nag DSLR ka nya "maglabi" imong EDIT kaysa pag shoot.
