Erap has wit and has good public speaking skills.

Manny Villar is not quite good at articulation but is seen as a good manager.

how on earth does a good speaker equate to being a good President or even a good someone? Al Capone was a great speaker u know.

Being a good President does not only need being a good speaker. It takes a lot more than that.

But being a good speaker helps a President in conveying his/her message to the people and to the people who works for him.

Speaking collectively to audience large or small is public speaking. A successful public speaker's main object is always to rouse and retain the attention of his audience. If you can do that, then you are a good speaker.

If Villar, Noynoy, or Erap can rouse and retain the attention of his audience, then they are successful speakers, even if magka buhol buhol pa ang English...

Being a good speaker also does not mean one is highly intelligent. There are lots of intelligent people out there who would rather die than talking in front of an audience. There are also lots of not-so-intelligent people who can even communicate better in front of an audience than their intelligent counterparts.
