Why you dont believe in Religion or Christianity (to be specific)?

for the same reason that i don't believe in aswang, manananggal, kapre etc.

the problem with religion, and i don't just mean Christianity, is that ang rules nila is: "SUBMIT,OBEY,DO NOT QUESTION. Praise the Lord, or else!" dli na nuon makbaw ang mga taw sa tinuod because dli cla pwde mo question. bawalan sa religion ang taw to think and find the truth for himself/herself... mu tuo kog ginoo sauna, with all my heart i did. but karun dli na... i realized that if i did not embrace doubt, i would never know the truth... if tinuod ba jud na tanan ang gi tudlo...ang gi suwat... nd if the feelings i felt that made me believe god was real were really true or was it all in my mind... nywei, dri lang sa ko kutob, i think kasabut naman mu asa ko padung... nya daghan raba gyud mga pala away dri. hehe peace nlang....sangga lang sa ta ron. haha.=)

i dont believe in religion but i believe in a God.. a god that knows no good nor bad.. an ammoral God..

there is no such thing as good or evil.. only men invented it.. man called good what it liked, evil what it didnt.. the good and evil we were taught thru religion are only preferences of other people..

man is free to think for himself, nobody should be coerced into accepting somebody else's belief.. we cease to be human beings when we give up our rational thinking. we become nothing more but docile cows domisticated by somebody stronger than us. we become animals...

if you choose to believe in religion its up to you.. let no man take away that right form you.. if you choose not to believe.. its up to you also.. let no man take it away that choice from you..

let man think/decide for himself... there is no such thing as a right or wrong answer, there is only the logical and the illogical reason.. the effective or ineffective solution...

any person here who claims he is the right way, and must follow him whether he is a christian/muslim/jew/hindu/athiest is no worse than the so-called satan-figure.. for that person who imposes his belief ontu others robs the rational mind and free will of another person thereby robbing him/her of his/her humanity...

Dili man na tinuod bai. Gina-encourage man sa Christian faith ang pag-question og pag-seek sa truth. Okay ra man pud mag-doubt. Daghan man sad mga believers nag-wrestle ana nga issue (doubt). Bisan sa Bible, naa'y mga characters nga naga-wrestle sa ila'ng mga doubts, pareha ni Ecclesiastes.

Aren't you saying that you're right, though? Aren't you claiming that what you're saying is true and that the Christian is wrong?

I agree at some of your points. I also believe that God gives each one of us the ability to judge for ourselves on what to believe and what not to. We are also free to walk with him in faith or not. We are free to fear or not his words.

As for me, I would rather go for faith and grace than religion. That doesn't mean that religion is bad, because it would be a discredit to ministries that strive to do God's mission with sincerity. However, I would rather not be completely trapped with religion. I'd rather walk with my God with his grace and with my faith.

for me.. that act wasnt evil nor was it good.. that was complete stupidity... why i said its very stupid is because it backfired... if i were ampatuan, i would never kill my enemy.. same as sayop ni marcos.. kung madedz imo kalaban, klaro na kaau kinsa i blame... its more prudent to kill your friend than to kill your enemy.. nobody would suspect you of killing your friend, but everybody would blame your enemy.. and most of all, ngano iya pa jud gi hilabtan ang media.. lain ra ba ni sila kay kung hilabtan di jud ka undangan..its clear that whoever did such a thing didnt think the whole matter throurougly. massive failure sa paghuna2x...

i dont judge anything by any morals.. i only see events as causes and effects.. you kill somebody, expect somebody to want to kill you too.. if you cant take the consequence then dont do it...

im not saying im right.. im saying im just using my logic and the available knowledge to date tu better understand my surroundings and the universe.. i could be wrong.. whats right to me might not be right to you...

the only thing i think is wrong with most religions is the way they use fear to gain obedience from the masses... people fear hell enough so they would rather follow blindly any religios figure who makes claims of salvation from such situation after death..
