non catholic still christian as long as they believe Christ.. but RCatholic is a religion inside christian..other than Catholic are also religions. like Born again Christian, Dating daan, ug uban pa..

not all catholics are saved, makit abaya sad nga badlungon nang uban diha. apil gani ko..
but not all outside catholics are not save...

the true church your reffering to is chrisitianity itself, not the catholic church only.. there are catholic and protestan christains as there are sunni and shiite muslims..

the catholic chruch is only universal in name but not in essence.. true christianity encompasses all those who worship Christ...

christianity or any other belief including athiesm is no way the universal truth...

they can only claim but they can never prove... the scriptures themsselves are not concrete evidences.. they are only writings of beings who are no more or lesser human than you and me..

why? simple.. coz nobody died and proved it, with solid scientific evidence.. all we have are myths and words of wisdom by supposed wisemen passed generation ontu generation.. christ was not the only person to have risen from the dead, there are countless literature of an entity coming back from the dead..

we can never know the truth till were dead...

no.. man can live without religion.. it doesnt take religion for a person to think whats effective or not... all we need is common sense and an inquisitive mind.. sometimes even religion takes it away from us..

ourselves.. its in our best interest to love other people... we dont need a god to do good things.. we know if we do bad things, bad things will also happen to us.. theres the universal cause and effect. for every action, theres an equal and opposite reaction..

Who are those that advocate no study of religion?

religion should be studied like a history lesson.. theres a lot to be learned from the experiences of our elders,, but we must not limit ourselves to what is written.. we must explore all possibilities.. we must not close our minds...

example...
murder itself is not immoral when looking at the natural order, you see animals murdering other animals.. but you know its bad because if you do it, some other guy will also want to murder you.. so its in your best interest not to murder anybody.. except cguro if your religion teaches you to do it..
