but between science and the bible, i'd rely more on the science for definite facts in nature than some 2000 old book written by who knows.. the bible has its purpose, but definitely not explaining the material universe in such accuracy and detail..
the Bible is the word of God and how come it's not perfect? how sad. you believe the created beings rather than the creator. so sad nman coz even great scientist believed that there is God who rule the complex universe. you don't believe in God right? and why you still remain a christian? (if your a christian)

there you go again.. postulating the word of some god.. proof daw sa imong god that he exists? asa man ni xa bah..

i'm baptized roman catholic, and i consider myself *christian* by virtue that i believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ.. but when you begin talking of Bruce Almighty, its better to watch the movie kay mas-entertaining tan-awn..

Note: I believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ, which means, I limit my belief to just the 4 gospels of Christ his parables and his teachings as a human being.. if you talk of Acts and other commentaries in the Bible.. outrageous na kaau na ilang mga claims of supernatural God.. idol man ni nko si Jesus.. pero tawo na xa para nko.. christian man japon tawag ana, diba.. Jesus-lover gud ko.. ever seen a black Jesus?

true. i won't deny that Christ's teachings are full of wisdom, love, compassion, and morality. it's good to read his teachings from time to time, especially if you wanna find your true self worth. but reading his teachings are like reading one of those self-help books you find in the bookshelves. nothing more, nothing less. i believe in the historical Jesus---but to me he's nothing more than a prophet who preached amazing things to people around him. not some Criss Angel-like walking on the water kind of stuff. then bringing back someone from the dead like frickin Darren Brown or David Copperfield.

go to: Earths Forbidden Secrets, page 1
and download the first pdf link there. http://www.thecrowhouse.com/Document...Part%20One.pdf
then after downloading, open the pdf and jump to page 152, then read. especially the page 157 which is "Tales of Gods and Men"...pero advice nako nga sugod ka sa page 152 para masabtan.

A couple of hundred pages actually, but never is one subject ever done more than glanced over and then dismissed. It always falls short of true discussion or actual organized debate. I just find no reason to go to deep into it. I have numerous times tried to introduce deeper debate. It is just a waist of time and good typing, I am told it is to long or the subject gets passed over because others do not want to actively engage. I have now been in the Philippine less than 14 months. I am constantly researching on the subject of Botany. I will still read Biology text mostly as it pertains to Botany, but biology has been at a virtual standstill for about 12 years. The research of DNA has been the real advancement and shinning light, but I have had no real lab time for over 13 years now. I still know how to read the data.
The internet is a poor source of verifiable information, due to so many website are subject to personal agendas and the proprietary license practiced by media sources. I was an Evolutionary Biologist in the field of Botany, for 12 years in Houston I lived in the fossil records.
Later I choose to devote my studies exclusively in Biology. In all the months on this forum no member ever even asked what field of Biology I was in. There are after all only five major fields. I ate, slept, lived, and studied Evolution for 15 years. 13 to 14 years of that time I was an Atheist. I there are some very sound theories in Biology, but there are also
big holes, gaps, and major contradictions; which I could not and you should not disregard. I still have a love for biology. You can be a Christian and still be a biologist. I will always love the sciences, they have been a part of my life for over 20 years. I will be a botanist till the day I die.

seriously, is he up-to-date with all the scientific achievements lately? i doubt he still even reads scientific journals other than probably a book he claims to be scientific---the Bible. who the F knows. the fact that you guys keep pushing your creationist ideals into people without any real evidence is a sign that you know little or nothing about Evolution.
See that is where we part ways. You accept Evolution blindly because it suites your No God belief. You refuse to see the flaws, to research them, to test them. I as a scientist test everything constantly. I check, recheck, and check again, and never disregard evidence that is contradictory. No science is above constant scrutiny. Creationist ideals are supported by science, it is only time lines that are in conflict. Research the beginning of the time lines and you can begin to unravel the lie. The interpretation of geological evidence, but so much of the evidence is ignored because it does conflict. These days I still read far more scientific text than biblical text. But to just sit and argue with those unwilling to look for themselves and devote themselves to research is just a waste of time. Believe what you believe, I can not fault you because I believed in it also. I opened my third eye and found the path I must follow, just too bad you are still blinded to that path.
Einstein warned, “We should take care not to make the intellect our god; it has, of course, powerful muscles, but no personality.”
