The Lord does not lie, like the way the Devil lied "Surely thou shalt not die..." kind of sly.

Without God's enlightenment man will become deluded by his own pride this is how God deceived evil people- by holding back His grace of enlightenment.

    God does not lie.

Yeah, I wonder who quipped that line too. When it should have been:

Mt 5:5 Blessed are the MEEK, For they shall inherit the earth.

Being meek should not be confused with being weak. It carries the idea of power under control.

so the bible has different versions? if the other version seem to have unfavorable translation you go and look on the other versions for a user friendly verse? is this not some kind of a deception? trying to play evil tricks on the mind of the people.

Yes, it is really deceiving. Since there is no Bible version that says: "Blessed are the WEAK for they shall inherit the earth." The one who uttered that misleading statement is misleading people.

There are many people in the world who say that their favorite Bible verse is: "Do your best and God will do the rest." That's amusing since there is no verse in the Bible anything like that at all in all versions.

"....the weak shall inherit the earth" is another amusing statement.

Straw Man Argument ---- This fallacy occurs when an individual alters or presents the opposing position in a false light to make it easier to attack.
