Some more half life 2 hype! haha. Check out the two in-game movies of HL2 .. hl2-coastline and hl2-striders. The physics are amazing!

I've had a 9800XT for months ... and no HL2 isn't packaged with it. You get a rebate card which you send in and they send you HL2 for the price of shipping. You can also use that card to redeem HL2 through Steam when it becomes available. But NO ... HL2 isn't out. I believe every release of any XT cards has always had HL2 bundled, not only the new ones.

mao ba....yeah, i've heard bout d code na na leak, luoya...i've seen a report gni na did2 sa russia kay naa'y ga compile sa code and gibaligya ang hl2...although buggy, but it wud still work...

Vern, I'd just like to ask, about the UPC bar code that is required on claiming the HL2 game, is it the sticker with the serial number and the name of the product example "HIS Radeon 9800XT and together with the SN and bar code"? I'm quite confused what barcode does it mean (is it the one in the card or is it the sticker attached in the box) until now I haven't sent my docs for the copy of HL2. BTW, I bought the product at ARCTECH. Hope you can help me out.

You and I are on the same boat. You can't even claim your copy of HL2 right now. At least not for a couple months. I suggest you keep all vouchers that came with your video card as well as proof of purchase. I'm not even sure if we can still get a copy of HL2. Last I looked ... Valve ...

To make up for the delay, Valve is letting those with vouchers for the game download a game pack including six of Valve's older titles. It's a token gesture, but I suppose it's better than nothing. At least the game pack will give users time to familiarize themselves with the Half-Life universe while they wait for the sequel.

I didn't bother with that game pack, but hopefully I'd still be able to redeem a copy of HL2 when it does come out.
