Did some tests.
Only 2 (!) channels are really HD, and also in the proper format.
This channels are History and NGC.
Everything else is NOT HD, and not even in the right format!
PLDT is selling / charging us 8 HD channels, where in fact there are only 2!
Isn't that somehow illegal?

Called the installer, he does not really know what format HD is at all...
Called Manila, and they also have no clue why HD channels are not in 16:9 and in good quality. Maybe they forgot that they broadcast SD 4:3 as HD?

somehow we cud complain this to a certain govt. agency(forgot the name) since the grievance is somewhat a technical problem perhaps u guys cud put up a gud fight since most of u here know what's the difference between HD and SD display and how it projects to our HD screens.

maayo pa SD package nalang imo i-subscribe or better yet get Dream TV, mas daghan pa ug channels naa pay 650 nga package with all the goodies. Mao raman siguro ilang quality sa video
