im not sure pero i would choose samsung. kay nindut ang warranty nya lig-on sad.
ASUS is one of the best when it comes to LCD's kaya lang they are more focus on motherboards eversince. I dont know if sila jud nag manufacture ana but I heard sila jud originally ga manufacture some said dili. Well...Ive been using mostly ASUS products for several years and I am very satisfied to all their products but still naa jud gihapon koy mga CONS nothing is perfect anyway.
@TS: Im currently using ASUS VW193D-B LCD monitor very much impressive even its 5ms pero satisfied ko sa performance and quality. I would say if you can afford ASUS get one and you will not regret it. Get samsung if you want it either both are good brands. So its your choice.
akong samsung Lcd naguba after 2 months gikan pagpalit pero naayu rapud sa service center dayun karun nga 1 year na lapas na sa warranty wa pa man sad nabalik kaguba
Well I can say its you have peace of mind sa mga reliable brand. Thats why I choose asus jud coz its worth sa money.
Samsung is another thing that specialize of display monitors and TV's. Ok raman pud ang samsung nindot ug materials gi gamit nindot ug finished iyang glossy ug unique elegant look + quality display pud. Pero I heard a lot of rumors o tinood man cguro ni nga samsung LCD doesnt mean samsung jud na tanan iyang PANEL so then kamao ka mo pili if its really samsung PANEL jud.
experience lang nako when it comes to LCD monitor repairs, nindut ang samsung pero once maguba labad sa ulo. Same goes to motherboards donning intel based chipsets nindut but maguba labad sa ulo. Same goes also sa ATI based video cards. Nindut but kung maguba again labad sa ulo ayohon.

@limes: Cge kay before ka mo buy pwede man testingan nimo dba. Then they said white box means mao jud na ang panel sa samsung if brown hhehehe di nana samsung daw.
Cge lang puhon....ill get asus or samsung.
its nice to hear nga OK ra ang LCD monitor bro. But as you said labad sa ulo tanan, maybe yes but those I mentioned sa ako previous post poses more challenges compared to its competitor chips. DELL is quite easy to repair. Samsungs are hard to repair. Good but very hard to repair. Same goes to VIA and SiS chips taas ko ug revival rate compared to intel based and NVidia based systems.
