    in a way yes...electrically a better binned processor has less leakage & take less voltage to get to its stock speed...so less voltage = less heat, less leakage = electrically stable at higher fsb...so kung mag oc ka you are in much better footing...

    The XEON processor were made for servers though they can still be used for home desktops. However, they have a better instruction set making computation more efficient. Sharo!!! Ayaw na libog guys ani....if naa pakoy money paliton dayon ni nako!!!!

    Bastah LGA775 1333mhz FSB imong motherboard okey kaayu nah!!!

    the same basically but the xeons are binned processors as simoko said; binned meaning, they are separated from the group because they consume less power and thus, less heat.

    xeon3111 = e8400

    you cannot directly compare them...quad mana ang Q6600 while dual-core man ning Xeon E3110...if you are talking about instructions per clock cycle...of course the Xeon E3110 wins kai 1333MHz man iyang fsb compared sa Q6600 and besides the Q6600 is actually two dualcore processors in one silicon die...when the two dualcore processors communicate with each other, they use the same 1066MHz bus...application-wise, if you are into video encoding/file compression then hands-down the Q6600 wins...

    naa na daghan benchies imong makit-an comparing processors in realworld apps...

    @ butitoy: thanks for the link...nice find...
