please ta ko tabang. ngayo ta ko feedback asa'y better na paliton na laptop. nan.aw man gud ko sa review sa mga amerkano. ingon sila ang MACBOOK PRO daw nindot kay wa daw virus and windows.

Need feed back from users na taga diri sa ato? which is better? hope naay makatabang. need feedback until 2nd week december. plan na nako mupalit. salamat daan.

in truth naay viruses sa mac oi...not as many as windows pero naa gyapon...and as long as you have proper anti-virus installed in your pc with internet connection to update regularly (it does it automatically btw) risk of infection is just in par with mac...

exactly what can macbook pro do that a windows based system can't...
macs arent immune to hangup
macs arent immune to errors and program crashes
macs are bug infested...even the latest mac OSX was plagued with problems.
i think the new win7 has less issues than the latest OSX.

exactly what makes mac better realistically...
for those of us not swayed by hearsay, cool ads, and nice but monotonous looks (yeah almost everyone has same color/shape/etc. everyone is in uniform. reminds me of highschool hehe)
can anyone cite actual specific examples what can a mac do that pc's can't...

but between the two id get the mac hehe

you should go for the VAIO SR (katong nindot nga Radeon model)
it gives you more "options" when it comes to software available... this advantage is a double-edged sword pud, it gives you more virii when it comes to software... pero layo ra mana sa tina-e, ok ra na naa virus! XD

im using a VAIO SR for about a week with win 7(setting it up for a friend, not mine)...its been weird hehehe...
at some point after 2 days, wifi just stopped working. decided to format it and start from scracth after a day of trying to make it work without success.
finger print scanner is a little dodgy compared to my acer but it works, besides, mac doesnt have one.
mac has better webcam image quality
mac has longer battery life (double)and battery gauge in the side but SR is battery replaceable
mac has better touch pad...way better with more features.
SR's 90days trial softwares is a waste of hdd

the SR with Radeon HD4570 is around 84k
macbook pro 13 is cheaper. a comparable macbook pro 13 priced SR uses Mobile Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD which is less compared to the macbook.
btw, im basing my price from what i can get these items here in the philippines...
so for me the SR is the overpriced laptop pc...id go with mac on this one if priced the same.
but if we go with the top of the line SR and price is no object then SR it is

btw we can get a higher spec system for less money from lenovo/acer/MSI

I've been using Mac for years, so far I haven't had much problems with it yet. It's true that they have bugs, and there's no such thing as ZERO viruses, but it doesn't lag and hang as much as Windows-powered laptops, even if you're running multiple programs.

And considering how pricey Sony Vaios have turned out these days...you may as well just get a Mac! lol
