"L" is for Loser... ABS-CBN and GMA... After getting TV5, I hope PLDT will make a big difference and change the scenes in Philippine TV.

The final option - turn the TV off!

We the people still have that choice.

TV is dying in developed countries. It will also die here one day. It's just a matter of time.

freedom of choice. you might not like that particular show but others do. and this is tv. change the channel if you find the program offensive.

its up to the parents to monitor what their kids are watching. if its a disturbing show... change the channel or watch it with the kids.

me and my husband were watching tv when while flipping thru channels he hapened to watch wowowee, he was interested at first then saw that some of the contestants started crying so he asked me for translation...i did, then he saw willy gave the old woman 10k...he said the guy's encouraging begging in that show....

at one time same scenario again, while waiting for tv patrol, he happened to watch SNN, the same thing he asked me to translate...i did, his statement was...ahhh, that's why filipinos love to gossip and talk about people...

talk about the power of media...

yes one of the posters said na free ang service ng GMA and ABS CBN and the viewers are free to choose wether to watch or turn the set off...pero eto lang ang walang bayad na entertainment that most of our kababayan can afford kaya wala silang magawa kundi aliwin ang sarili nila without extra cost coz if u want to watch informative shows kailangan mo cable with bayad...but my point is sana maging responsable sila sa mga ipinapalabas nila dahil alam nila ang capacity and influence of media...

all the above shows i mentioned i just happened to watch...siguro marami pang ibang shows na mas malala...

Mao nay gitawag na media exploitation, this TV station specially ABS-CBN who exploited the minds of people living in the slums to be slave on LUCK. Sad to say ing ani jud ni cya pero we can't blame the TV station it is their strategy blame the literacy rate of this country and blame the people.

The gap between the HAVES and THE HAVE NOT will continue to rise in this nation tungod sad nato, the only way to stop this turn the TV off once we do these the TV station program will no longer be like this.

well then...di na ako magtataka if manalo si willy as senador kung sakaling tatakbo...
and hindi rin katakataka na maraming artista na mananalo sa eleksyon...kay morag mas daghan ang have not kaysa haves...

being poor is not an excuse para mawala ang atong critical thinking and reasoning, and we have to encourage this if not teach...and media can do this...
