Are deists welcome here? Proud to be one (Not a closet deist).

Call me a hypocrite, my parents and my sisters are really religious(catholics) but I am the only guy in the family who is in favor of the half that they believe, half of it is in my rejection bin.

For some reason, I believe that the only thing you need in the world is Ethics, Morality and Logic. There is no definite religion that could save you, the only important thing that can save you are the good things you leave in this world when you die because the people you left behind will benefit the most of it. To sum it up, you are spreading good and not evil.

for me thru logic, morality and ethics can be formed.. its more logical to do good to another person than to harm him.. theres no sense in killing somebody when you can always work together with the same guy...
