all professional bodyn piercer would use a 16-14 gauge for a prince albert.for a frenum...you canget away with 18 tho not recomended.most likely..if your piercings were doneby a professional,it will be 16=14 gauge.
jumping from 16 gauge to an 8 gauge will be very hard(since you mentioned that you wanna double the gauge right away) andisuggest doing small incriments.16 gauge to 12 gauge is my suggestion thenget another set of 10 or 8 gauge later.
judgingby your gauges(if it is 16-14 gauge) it shouldnt be hard to find this gauges for a barbell and/or open bead rings.its when you get to the /zero,00,7/16,1/2 gauges that it really becomes hard to find them.

heres somewhat of my collections of earrings and their gauges to give you an idea on the difference in gauges

starting from bottom right
1. regular earrings
2.captive bead rings(2) = 16 gauge
3.captive ring(1) = 14 gauge
middle row
1.captive ring(missing ball) = 10 gauge
2.captive ring = 6 guage
3. segment ring = 4 gauge
4.open bead ring(horse shoe black) = 0 gauge
top row
1.black plugs = 00 gauge
2.silver flare plugs = 0 gauge
3.silver threaded plugs = 0 gauge
4.deigner plugs(tribal) = 3/4 inch(i think)

i live in chicago man.i can send you some jewelry if you want to as long as its not that much for shipping cost.i dont know how much for shipping them to begin with.most of my friends work in tattoo shops.

@bai_jannjan: naa man laser removal sa tattoo but nalimot ko sa name ug asa to! hehehe..il post it ryt away tan-awn sa nako...ang uban they would erase their tattoo by tattoo ra sad using white ink, so bacn pwde ra sa imoha kay puti man kaha ka, suggestion lang nako.

I have the normal 16 gauge captive ring for my PA and 18 gauge barbels for my frenum. It would have been great if I can find a 14 gauge captive ring.

i have a lot of friends who're into body mod and piercings. nindot kaayo to sila ug mga jewelries kay order tanan sa gawas. i have a few piercings but i'm more of a tattoo person. hapit na ma buhat ako current dream tattoo.. budget nalang gyud gi-pa abot. mingaw na ko pa ink kay taod2x nasad... nig ka human ani... m gonna dream up of another design. hehehehehe...
