@keyser_soze: u ever try submitting your works to "pinoy ghost stories" or "nginig"?if i was the editor,i'd hire you right away if u showed me these creepy masterpieces (i'm peeing in my pants right now!).that is one hellavu talent you got their man. I dont envy u...hehe![]()
@dichromaticbeagle: you scanned supergirl?! aargghh!! by the way,PM'd u back![]()
Ansley, there's nothing "homo" about your version of Creed; I don't know why you think there is. Honestly, I'm impressed by it and your other drawings. Your Creed looks very intimidating indeed (personally, I like it more than the others).Originally Posted by Ansley
Your style with Creed resembles Bret Booth's a lot; do you know this artist? Oh, he draws with such, such detail-- he's pencilling the comic book adaptation of the Anita Blake vampire hunter novel series these days. I really admire his works.
You definitely have talent, man. The next thing for you is definitely illustrating panels and pages you hate to do. I recommend you study Booth's sequential artwork closely.
Thanks.
Ciao!
@keyser_soze - True... Anger and Lust will definitely haunt you to death... i like them very very much. Guess I like that horrorific mode injected into an artwork.
Hmmmm...too much delight...leads to delirium..
i was pretty scared myself after i finished some of this, epsecially envy, coz i made it all alone sa boarding haus, around midnight, i slept with the light on, hehe... btw the anger girl has been haunting me for long time, i been drawing that image in my sketch pad for 2 years now, i think im possesed, hehe...
@HoundedbyHeaven: well,i had no reference for costume,so,i just drew creed with the least bit of clothing and a clean pony-tail.overall,creed came out "neat" or "tamed" looking y'know? not the savage beast he's been brutally portrayed. hence,for me neat,tamed and the suggestive pose was kinda' "gay"( you follow?hehe) ayayay!
as for Bret Booth? yep,i'm familiar with his works,but that was way back "stormwatch"(image)?great! i'll check out his new stuff. but,currently i'm hooked on this euro-artist named Enrico Marini.check him out dude. y'might get a crack out of his mixture of action and humor.thanks for the tip. highly appreciated man... :mrgreen:
@keyser_soze: cripes! you're dangerous man! hehe
@Weebong: you're no different! haha! peace
@ Ansley- The hand that I use for drawing isn't mine at all, it was 100 years ago that my soul was traded for the skill I hunger. Beware it may seamlessly attach itself on the arm but every morning i always notice stains of read and dirt on my nails... i always wonder why...
@all: Here's Weebong's drawing hand.
