Kid Rock's biggest hit ever was last year's All Summer Long from his 2007 album Rock 'n Roll Jesus. It crossed across different charts from modern rock to modern country to mainstream pop(also known as Top 40) and even hiphop (with a special remix of the song).

Although Kid Rock is releasing some country music singles every now and then, his upcoming album, according to him will be reminiscent to his 90s albums (some of those songs are on his 2nd major label History of Rock album,a sort of compilation of early Kid Rock songs) prior to his first major label Devil Without A Cause, which is old school hiphop with lots of sampling

He's currently working with producer Rick Rubin(a guy who can produce almost anything from trash metal SLAYER to hiphop Cypress Hill to Folkies The Avett Brothers to country Dixie Chicks)
