@all GOOD MORNING GUYS!!!!

I Echo both sir Eskeryon and Markykoi's view on the matter of the membership fee. I can't agree more that "money is indeed a very sensitive issue" That is why, when ACE started, we did not pursue the collection of any membership fees, since we are People with hearts that feels and emphatizes and ears that listens.

I was jobless when I joined ACE, yet I and Smalltime_guppy were the ones that are very willing to Pay for the membership fee, since we are really happy with our experience as a member. The things that we learned, the nice, down to earth friends that we meet and the adventure when it comes to the trekking activities. Those things are "Priceless" if you ask me.

But we have to face reality, in order for us to grow and endure, Our group needs funding. I PERSONALLY DON'T LIKE THE IDEA OF ASKING FOR A FEE but it is needed. But then again, we want to do things the proper way and as diplomatic as we can.

The whole point of having a meeting this sunday, is to make sure that you guys are heard, that all your suggestions be funneled to the rest of the members. We can really discuss things if we wanted to, It will not be sir Eskeryon, Markykoi nor me who will make the decision, It will be ALL OF US.

mu voice out pod ko bisan di ko active sa ACE na karon. the membership fee is ok raman as long as satisfied ka and your enjoying and the most important part is nakita nimu asa napunta ang kwarta diba dili lang ingun nga wa nka kibaw asa napunta, like marky,lyle,dingo,iyon said daghan napod grupo na bungkag tungod anang fundings kay ang uban abusado nya wlay claro mag kupot sa kwarta, but for me as long as kita judta asa mapunta ang fundings then it will be no probs, sakto pod ang uban e tago para sa future exhibit or shows also pod sa mga xmas party or other events. so mas mau jud if maka apil sa meeting kay didto jud na ma discuss ang benefits for being a member(ex. discounts,affiliates, knowledge you'll learn from the group, etc...) then dont judge sa dayon na dili worth it kay wa pa ta kibaw unsay gi pang taguan sa officers na perks maybe naay free nano tank ever monthly meeting( haha joke ra officers) and lastly wlay grupo nga nag sugod nga wa ni agi ug kalisud diba naa jud na pag una na naay probs but as the members mag ka solid then magka solid pod ang group.

PS. ganahan kau ko mu apil sa inyo mga meetings and trekkings but sadly i can fid tiome since sunday is a family day jud para namu, patuo nlng judko ani ni tatay. i hope some mebers could understand but for sure marky and iyon did. hehe

Good morning sa tanan.

First of all let me tell you that I have created this organization for the love of our hobby, and for a common goal in preserving nature. A NON PROFIT organization that helps hobbyists sa hobby nga dili sila mag lisod, keeping them IN the hobby making everything cost effective, by sharing knowledge, tips and tricks on aquatic flora and fauna keeping. Nga dili gasto or mahal ang hobby and dili lisod pud. TINABANGAY is the key word.

The organization is more than a year old, at first I was not planning to get any membership fee or anything that pertains to money since as what sir eskeryon had said, this is the MAIN REASON why organizations FAIL. Kanang dili magka sinabot ba. But in the long run, i have come to realize that the organization will NOT survive without funds too. These funds are not mine, these are yours. Para sa inyo pud ni. I completely understand that most of us here will have seconds thoughts about the membership fee, registration fee, etc. We will discuss the PERKS and "WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME" on our meeting.

I am not a good leader, but paningkamutan nako nga dili madiscourage ang mga taw sa ACE. Lingaw kaayo ni guys. To think of, kita ang usa sa mga pioneering club diri Cebu nga walay mother org sa Manila. We have started from scratch, kugihan kaayo ang mga members, mga gwapo ug gwapa pa jud (wa koy labot) hehehe. bitaw, let me help you guys by helping the organization. Pasalamat ko sa mga karaan sa ACE, kadtong mga first few members nga ni kugi jud. Salamat kaayo. You know who you are.
Btw, abuloy or donations are not compulsory.

Regarding about the website, sir zhero_id, hope you could attend the meeting. I need a legitimate admin for this.

I would still suggest nga avoid lang ta offtopics diri and buy and sell should be on the buy and sell section lang. Our thread is the most active thread diri sa Pet Discussions, lisod na if ma infaction ta or unsa sa mods. Salamat kaayo sa inyong pag sabot. =)

instead of boiling, you can do the wet & dry cycle of your curly stuff.
The boiling just speeds up the process to about an hour vs 1-2 weeks of drying & wetting.

OR... you can go straight to using designer substrates unless you want those royal hands to become... ...tainted.

To all who are discussing money matters in relation to the ACE organization:
This is a delicate matter to discuss with that is why it is not good to discuss it here for the meantime when everything is just a "hakahaka" lang. This issue must be resolve though a general membership meeting thus I am asking everybody to be there in the meeting as I am planning to have this in a resolution which must be approved by the majority and we are going to submit this to SEC. A lot of organization were dissolved because of money matters. Nang atras ang uban labi na kon idagan na sa nagdala sa kwarta. So we will see to it what ever transaction is made then it should be transparent and thus everybody can ask question as to the status of the organizational funds. So be there to clarify everything.
