mga migo.. i just noticed nga kada maabot na ug 900mb+ ang mga files nga maStore sa recycle bin, d na siya ka delete nor restore kai muCrash na ang explorer (which is recycle bin) tungod siguro sa kabug-aton na sa mga files...

nahitabo nani nako kas-a ug naEmpty nako sa dos ang file... pero karon kai wa nako kahinumdum kun sa asa ug g-unsa sad to nako pagSearch sa search engine bisag unsaon nko ug pangita d na nako makit-an ang site kun asa to nako nakat-unan...

kinsai nakahibaw sa step-by-step process ani mga migo para maEmpty nako ang recycle bin thru dos... d man nako maEmpty gud bisag sa safe mode kai muCrash gihapon...

Boot your pc to DOS & delete the files or the recycle bin. Rectcle bin will be recreated on the next reboot.

Go to Start, Run, then msconfig. Click Advanced button then check the for "enable startup menu". Then reboot your pc. You will have the menu & choose command prompt only.


When you get the C:\> prompt, type in;

deltree c:\recycled\*.* (OR)
deltree c:\recycled\filename.ext (OR)
deltree c:\recycled (deletes the entire directory).

To stop the startup menu, use msconfig to reverse the steps above.

If deltree doesn't respond, at the C:\> prompt, before using the deltree command, type in;

cd windows\command

and then use the above.

what kind of vista you're using bro? mine is basic but i don't have problem same as yours regarding my recycle bin. sometimes it reach 1GB or more.

mao jud nah nga paagi akong nakit-an ron sa mga search engine... dili ni siya mao pagBuhat nako before.. simple rajud kaayu toh nga dos commands and voila! empty na ang bin...

gie lang, f d najud to nako makit-an balik nga site muConsider nia ko ani.. tnx for the suggestion

just checked my browsing history and (surprisingly) i traced back the site where i actually got it...

How to fix a Corrupted Recycle Bin

just realized that the browsing history even stored the sites i browsed last summer... ^^
