Is TV Patrol World a TABLOID news program??

I've been watching TV Patrol since I was in grade school. But I've realized that they have changed a lot since then.



They tend to sensationalize and emphasize or exaggerate or sensational crime stories, gossip columns repeating scandalous and innuendos about the deeply personal lives of celebrities and sports stars, and other so-called "junk food news"

What do you say?!

TV Patrol still holds the record of having the highest rating newscast when former anchor Korina Sanchez had an exclusive live interview with Kris Aquino regarding the latter's break-up with Joey Marquez. According to AGB, the interview garnered a rating of 47.2% in Mega Manila.

if ang tv patrol world is a tabloid new program then gma's a tabloid too... sunstar and the superbalita.... naa man jud ni ang sensationalism para makuha nila ang ratings nga ila gusto...
pero so far for me tolerable ni... maybe a tabloid for those who doesnt meet thier expectations and standards... and because its seems to be favoring to/ almost like endorsing a politician nga dili gusto sa nitan.aw.... pero ug tua pa favor sa ila manok, twing plus plus plus points...

Addendum-

Excessive showbiz news.

I understand that's what sells because most Filipinos are too showbiz. So that can't be helped.

For argument's sake, let's focus on TVP and not the network. Not all their news programs are tabloidal, some news programs in ANC for instance are really good.

And Actually, this issue about TV patrol being too biased is no longer sort of subjective. You do not need to favor a certain candidate to see through this. Naa na si siya even before pa. I remember one time when Karen Davila almost cried (or did she really cry) when the program was lambasted by Susan Roces.

In your face na kaayo ang kabias sa TVP, I doubt if you cannot see that even if you are supporting a candidate they are favoring.

la man sad koy blema sa tv patrol regarding ana kay dili lang man kay sila ray ako tan.awon... ang lisod lang sa mga ingon ani nga program kung ang mga viewers dali ra kaayo patouhon.... pero sa maghunahuna sad, wa ni epek ang ani nga style...
