i had a bad experience with belkin and netgear nga router. Switched to linksys... wala na ko tagai ug problema

Better if linksys imo router, i-linksys nalang sad ang receivers

depende raman jud sa imo gamitan ug budget sir
kung pang homeuse lang.. nya inyo balay dili dako kaayo. pwede ra cdrking (basic ra jud iya features)
pero kung gusto ka kusog2x ug signal.. adto sa branded nga routers

naka use ku d-link wifi n series, ug asus wifi router naka problema ku sa port forward daku kau problema sa asus na try naku kay nag portforwrd ku ug http ang iya e forward kay ang iya mismung webbase controls.

switch to lnksys ok kau ug ang tp-link pud walay problema. ang linksys kay Cisco certified man gyud tingali.

Linksys WRT54GL, Buffalo WHR-HP-54G or Buffalo WHR-G300N all supported on dd-wrt open source firmware. There are other good wireless routers, but these are what I have used. This will make your router more stable than the stock firmware.

hi guys, pwede ko makisakay sa topic? sorry noobie ayu ko ani. pa help ko ninyu please mga pros..

House Details:
- 2 floors with roofdeck, balcony at 2nd floor
- firewalls ang walls sa house (thick walls)
- 64 sq meters

PC/ Laptop/Phone Details:
- 1 desktop PC at the ground floor
- 1 notebook Acer Aspire Timeline 3810T (Wireless N wifi specs)
- 2 land line phones (1 at ground floor beside pc, 1 at 2nd floor)

DSL Connection Details
- desktop pc connected via PLDT DSL PLAN 1299 + Landline
(IP ADDRESS changes sometimes to 112.xxx.xx.xxx and katong usa i forgot)
- splitter and modem sa ground floor tapad sa desktop pc

Conditions
- i want to use my PLDT DSL connection for my laptop around the house from ground floor to the roofdeck

Questions:

1. Best router for this?
- some say TPLink is better for ACER laptops. any comments on this?

2. Best Location for the router?
- open locations daw near windows? but our house has minimum windows coz of the fire wall

3. Router Configurations?
-they say "automatic settings" lng daw... comments?
