diba pl is still CFL? trademarked by Phillips lang so PL for Phillips Lamp..wat i cant understand is why would PL be better than CFL? pasabta ko ninyo..hehe

PL is pinlight. i have used pinlight 2 - 55W on my main 35 gal tank for a year, with great results, pero ang availability sa PL kay scarce, naa sa manila from planted tank hobbyist pud. diri kay ambot, murag wala na sila nag baligya. mao ni shift ko CFL, pero naa ghapon koy usa ka 8000k (i think since it's bluish) 55W PL.

sa akong experience, i used the tablet form. ako i lubong near the root area sa tanom, about 1 or 2 inches deep around 1 inch diameter sa plant.

so far, wala paman sad incident nga ang isda naluto or namatay sa suga. pero i wouldn't suggest aluminum hood if wala kay fan. mu init jud na... sige lang kag top off ug water ana tungod sa evaporation.

Eleocharis accicularis..commonly known as hairgrass.
you can try to carpet it in emerse form and then when it is covered, flood it, blast it with CO2. inevitably, it would go under transition from emerse form to submerged form, pero ok ra. just let it grow....pero taod2x pud.

meeting ang officers, concerned ACErs, and participants sa exhibit this Sunday at 1:00pm. Location, any suggestions? kay layo ra ang among balay. somewhere uptown will do. Attendance is a must for participants.

Some GUIDELINES: (will be adding more in the future)
1] Tank must have its own styro or rubber matting at the bottom for safety purposes.
2] DIY CO2 bottles should be painted black or covered with black.
3] You should have your own lighting fixture and filter.
4] Tank must be completely drained before transporting.
5] Must bring water using water containers (5gal bottles), the water you have drained from that aquarium so as not to stress the fish if there's any.
