pugngi nalang na imong mga killer nga baraha bai hisuka kay nasobrahan ra ni siya ka high sa pagda-ug ni pacman! haha!

bitaw TS, ok ra gyud na maski wala na PERO kinahanglan na nimo ipa-configure daan sa taga PLDT kay wala man ka access ana legally (pero maka-access ra gud ka sa GUI ana kung maresearch na nimo ang UN/PW sa imong modem model... naa man daghan pinoy dsl forums ana nga info)...

kung BUSINESS LINE sad imong dsl, ingna gyud tigbantay nga ngano dili man nila e-configure nga mo-route ang modem nila nga naa man na capacity mo-route unya pang negosyo gud imong gamit... pero kung imong internet line kay pambalay ra (999/month and below), kana kinahanglan ka hangyo or hatag lang ka tip or suwayan lang nimo ikaw na mangita sa configuration sa modem ana. kung dili makaya sa imong powers, palit gyud ka router....

i've been searching for similar thread but can't find any...

so my question is, about starting a lan in an internet cafe. all my problem is what to use, isp modem->router->switch->10-13PC's, or isp modem->router->10-13PC's ? im a bit confused about the two.

and how many router ports and/or switch ports to purchase. that's all.. tnx in advance.

all you need is a 24-port switch, Cat5/utp cables, RJ45 connectors, and LAN cards.

plus a modem. kay kung walay modem wala may internet, unya kung walay internet dili nana matawag nga INTERNET cafe. heheheeehh

12 years of experience about networking, wala pa sad hinoon ko naka encounter nga dili ka connect ug internet ang ubang pc unless down ang isp server.

OT: total naghisgot naman tag modem diri, unsa ka tinuod nang magkaproblema daw kung direct modem to switch? ... kay naa nako mga nabasa ana nga mga forums ba, pero wala man nila gipang-explain.
