Freethinkers And Skeptics

i agree... it doesn't matter what we believe in. we all might be arguing as to what we believe and what we don't believe, but at the end of the day, we live peacefully in hopes of someday finding the real truth.

so if you are a freethinker/skeptic, what made you one?

i learned not to criticize anyone or any group or any religion... I practice this daily and that's when I learn many things about religions... step by step I learn some truth about religions and then I learned to respect any religion and due to this I learned more truth about life

if we keep on criticizing others and questioning their beliefs, we will never grow, and will never learn the truth... we are blinded by what others are and we will never see and know who we are

converted atheist..mysticism and other stuff..i admire but i don't give much of my time to it..i somehow find secret gropups/brotherhoods/etc. similar to organized religion(to a certain degree)..kai in my opinion they endorse elitism..dli ka pwede mu study or dli ka pwede mahibaw ani na knowledge kai dli ka part as amoang elite group..kai dli ka spiritually fit, mentally fit blah, blah, blah..i think there's nothing different kaysa sa mga mainstream religions elitista man ug datng..but maynlang kai kaning mga secret groups kai at least everyone of the members aning grupoha kai nahibaw jd sa ilahang gisudlan..and each one knows as much as the other dli parehas sa mainstream religion..i don't have anything against sa mga secret brotherhoods..kana lang akoang dli tantong ganahan sa ilahang fold..

FREE THINKING is not a RELIGION at all so why worry how to fill up any forms that asks for religion ? FREE THINKING is an approach in life and how you percieve things accoriding to the individual free thinker on issues , decisions , outlooks , struggles etc in life .

hahaha. even free thinking is claimed by the not so freethinkers or the simply not- just-thinking-persons/ idiots; in the process it makes "free thinking" the new form of fundamentalism.hahaha

if you are a freethinker and a skeptic, most likely you are also an atheist, or at the bare minimum, agnostic. although i'm not saying one cannot be a freethinker/skeptic if he/she is religious---but that, in itself, is contradicting. RELIGION makes a person divert into an unrealistic world which contradicts the concept of FREETHOUGHT.
