Has anyone here tried eating at Yoshinoya?

It's a Japanese-style fastfood joint that has branches in several countries, including the Philippines (still in Manila). Don't think of sushi or burgers. They offer rice bowl meals, including Japan's famous beef bowls.

How I wish there was a Yoshinoya here in Cebu.

Would you believe I dined at Yoshinoya in the US, Japan and in Manila?

The taste and styles are the same. Other than the prices, the big difference is that Yoshinoya's American servings are much bigger.

Currently, the principal franchisee in the Philippines is the Century Pacific Group of Companies (Century Tuna).. Looks like we have to deal with them first before being able to acquire a franchise. hehe

I'm confident that Yoshinoya will be a hit here in Cebu, if ever it opens a branch locally.

I'm hearing rumors that a Yoshinoya will open here in Cebu at SM City.

Come to think of it, the Yoshinoyas I've been to in Luzon are located in SM malls.
