the simple solution is to stop proliferation of fake products in all forms. Kay ngano? Fake raman gyuy nakasugod sa ni aning gubot. dapat si FAKE muy dapat mawala. Yes I admit, tig palit ko fake sometimes kay mas barato gyud but let's face it. in the end, fake products would not exist without the research, development and bountiful effort and resources that companies put into producing their product only to have all that effort be snatched away by fakes. They just want a return on their investment.=D

Disaster jud sa mga hilig og branded. di man kaayo ko brand conscious basta comfortable lang ko.

Coz even fakes/emits have silk tags na pud ron.

The best way to determine if an item came from Estados Unidos is to look for the "Made in China" label or "Hecho en Mexico" or "Hecho en Honduras" or "Made in Sri Lanka." or "Made in Vietnam."

The fakes are being made from the same places--oftentimes from the same factories--as the places enumerated above.

The really good fakes are probably seconds, overruns, prototypes, discarded production test runs, or what are called "lunch box specials". The latter are made by factory workers in their own time or when management isn't looking (or during unauthorized extra shifts) and smuggled out of the factories. Needless to say these items do not pass through quality assurance, but since they are made by the same skilled folks who make the genuine goodies, the fine line between authentic and knock off can be very blurred.

This is why most major western brands have permanent QA staff from headquarters assigned to overseas factories. Those who can't afford such personnel expenses or who just don't care will always have problems with fakes and pilferage.

Of course there are fakes made in basement factories or as village home industries, but those are usually easier to detect.
