    if it is hardware then the motherboard will be replaced because audio card was built-in in the motherboard, there is no audio card replacement for the laptop motherboard but you can purchase an external sound card for your unit.

    ok well an external sound card wud be cheaper than a new mobo for sure, so ill ask them about that. my hdd has read errors now since the water incident so i guess that needs replacing also,

    faet kuya.., ako jud na ad2 ang SM pod para sa akoa DELL...since sa US nako sya napalit...ad2 jud tawn paliton kono ang mga parts..paeta!

    we can replaced also all parts for any I.T. unit. So just drop here at the office so that we could check also all the hardware of your unit so that we can finalized the hardware to be replaced.

    diba international waranty mani ang dell?

    international warranty if bought in the US and has at least 1year onsite service warranty. If kato mail-in warranty lang dili siya qualified for international service.. another option would be to transfer the laptop's ownership from US to PH para ang warranty niya for PH na. katry nako sa ako laptop before transfer ownership ra pero dugay mo take effect ang transfer.. in the end, nagpawarranty lang ko sa US then ang parts gipasend sa ako uncle in the US then giforward sa ako diri. after replacing the part send ra pud nako balik ang guba nga part sa ako uncle den siya nagmail balik sa dell.

    its a refurbished dell unit from UK so it doesnt have warranty, only 6 months in the place i buy it in uk

    better go for the creative usb soundcard mas barato pa imo gasto mas nindut pa imong output.
