nag wonder jud kog maau kai until now, somewhat, cloudy gihapun akong water despite the numerous water changes nga akong gi buhat.. the tank is about to be a week old na and the c02 is 3 weeks old na so limpyo na siya from spilling residue... akong gi limyuhan ang sand before nako gi setup... ngano kaha ni masters?

ang cloudy water normal ra na sa tank ma fresh or marine if less than 8weeks old pa, It is still trying to finish it's initial cycling period. A 20% water change every week to 2 weeks is fine for a fully cycled tank, but yours will need one at least once a week nga water change now. Don't vacuum the gravel yet though. Do that once it is fully established after 8 weeks. ma samok man gud ang bacteria nga develop pag ayo ug madugay na hinuon imong cycling..

Avoid actually changing anything in the filter during this period. It removes the devloping bacteria and will make cloudiness worse too. The new filtering material can take a couple of weeks to grow the new bacteria back on it. Rinsing the old ones in tank water is the perfect way to handle it. Keep doing that for awhile.

wala pay biological cultures na develop imo canister filter. just wait, dont wash your filter usa. or you can add up nitrivec to develop immediately good bacteria.
