    First of all, I want to thank all the members of ACE. our family has grown and I am very happy that we are still growing in number. Salamat.

    Second, thank you to all who joined the last trek at Bonbon Mawmawan. Tiring, treacherous, difficult, yes..but It was fun and exciting. we got wet too!

    I can say the difficulty of that trek is 3 out of 5 based on other treks that we did. IMO.
    Specimens are collected, but unfortunately, a bag of it was accidentally released back to the river. Ghost shrimps are abundant but hard to catch, patience and good pair of knees are needed. hehehe

    I was able to recall the type of stiphodons that got released back to the river:

    somewhat like this but much colorful (more on orange and reds)

    daghan ingon ani:

    naa pud fully metallic blue pero that got away too.

    Moss and bogplants are abundant too.

    di ni siya ghost shrimp nohh?
    I would strongly suggest not to put it inside a tank with nerites, it will eat your nerites. Uwang na sa binisaya.

    sa akong experience, this is normal, hyperactive man jud ang shrimps. dili na sobra sa CO2, kay if sobra sa CO2, all shrimps are at the water surface gasping for air, or they are somewhat whiter than used to.

    just let it be, observe lang sa, make sure your filtration is good.

    hope that helps.

    maayong buntag pud diha engineer.

    if tanan shrimps naa sa babaw, that may be it. just make sure your filtration is good. remember, you are trying to replicate their natural habitat, they live in a fast current flowing river, meaning highly oxygenated.

    those are local moss that yet to be identified, actually, gamay ray moss ato, kadtong green nga part, dili to purely aquatic jud, pero some where sa sulod, naay mutubo nga moss.
    yet to be identified, maybe bonbonensis sp.? hehehehe

    @all ACERS!!!

    Guys, thank you kaayo for participating..... It's nice to see that we are getting bigger.
    Please, don't let the "bombshells" a.k.a. human feces, discourage you from participating
    on our future treks, because there are still a lot of rivers that are less populated and
    are clean.... Regardless, we just have to accept the fact that there are people that
    really don't have the means of having their own toilet.

    @markykoi

    Yup that's the same type of stiphodon that was released,,,, that is a rare type of
    stiph, sayang gyud mark. Cge lang we'll have more explorations to come, perhaps we'll
    go somewhere far to the north... Who knows what we'll find there.

    @lyledu

    Where are the other pictures from you phone? I will upload the other photos that I took
    later, this afternoon.

    @Newbies Who joined

    THANK YOU......... thank you pud sa nag pasakay nako nga si YOT ug si DOC hehehehe.
    Salamat bai..
