this is not the right place to argue about this dear. and besides, God, presumably the Christian God, being a human concept is a flawed statement. God is not a human concept because not all humans believe in a single deity, evident in the diversity of beliefs and religions.
just my two cents for those who are truly here for an intellectual discussion...
evolution and adaptation go hand in hand with change. our world is constantly changing, therefore those encompassed within this world will continue to evolve and adapt to these changes. why then is there no recollection of human evolution? because the concept of evolution only began when man began gained intellect and began to question his origin. here is my theory:
At that point, natural evolution had rapidly been taken over by invention. Why say so? natural evolution takes billions of years to occur, so before that necessary evolution occurs, let's say, to avoid predation, many lifetimes of the species would have passed. A good example would be how certain moths have evolved to detect bat sonar to avoid being eaten. Before that crucial point, many generations of months have been easy prey to many generations of bats.
But for present-day humans, almost all inconveniences of life can be remedied by technology. Why specialized eyesight when we have microscopes and telescopes? why need specialized chemicals in our stomachs, like termites do, to build our structures when we have machines to build our structures for us?
so that's my two cents. anyway, evolution is complex and far from completely understood. part of it is still a big mystery, and for someone to truly study and witness evolution, he would have to live for more than a million years... and i guess even the elixir of life mentioned in another thread can't help us with that.
