yes korek sila bro, the more memory mas bright siya hehe, joke. more resources the pc can utilize the faster it operates, kai kan on lang sa RAM, hehehe
ur hard disk will be very happy, kai less virtual memory(pahuway sa pagefile haha)= smoother system performance.
hehehehe, ur mobo is DDR1 compliant, hehehe supports DDR1 memory module default DDR266 or (above ,underclock to 266 i think)

i installed a 1 pc PQI 512mb ddr400 on a p4vmm2, it works, but underclock siya. hehehehe
try to check unsa revision imu p4vmm2 sa ecs website then tan awa memory support list. for compatiblity go look for DDR266 for compatibility, pwede rasad ddr400.

also if u want to dual log its requires more processing power, celeron can handle dual log i think, but due to small cache size nd slow fsb, kamang dyud na.

and lastly if u want to squeeze out lil juice sa imu pc, try to disable unwanted background apps.

Processor: P IV 2.4GHz & yours is Celeron 2.4 GHz
RAM: 512MB & yours is 256MB
Video Card: GeForce FX series & yours is FX 5200 (ok ra.)

What you can do 1st is upgrade your RAM to 512MB PC 400MHz (P 750). Kung madala sa budget, get a 1GB PC 400MHz (P 1,350). DDR1 is more expensive than DDR2 kay padulong na phase out. Just ask around computer stores near your location for stock availability & price.

Maka lag pod sa gameplay ang slow internet connection. At least a 1Mbps speed is a must.

But take note, celeron is intel's budget class so a 2.4ghz celeron is no where near as fast as a 2.4ghz Pentium 4. Also dugay na phase out ang DDR, though some major stores kay gabaligya pa ana. In fact nagakita na na2 na ni anamx2 na ug mahal ang DDR2, so hapit na ang DDR3 transition, hapit na pud na siya ma phase out ang DDR2<give it a few more years> ( by the time mubarato na ang X38 motherboard sa intel ).

i own the same mobo, one of its downside as well is its 4x max agp bus and its ddr266 ram support. so no use imung powerful agp videocard to its fullest capability.

Mobo P4vmm2 akoa Processor ani nya is Intel Pentium 4 1.8ghz karon e-upgrade unta ni nako migo to 2.4ghz unya inig paslak nako ang iyaha ma detect kay CPU speed is only 1.8ghz man gihapon.

unsa-on mani nako migo, unya di na hinoon mo boot sa bios ra taman kanang di daw siya kita sa Hard disk... unsa pa sad ang iyaha bios ani wala may option ma kita nimo ang speed sa imoha processor
