ey bro. my aunt bought me hp laptop in the US and is eligible for windows 7 upgrade. however she came here before windows 7 launched oct 22. is there another way i can get my windows 7 cd without HP sending it to her US home address and send it to me here in the cebu?

I have the same dilemma too. After I read countless webpages, I found out that you can have it shipped to the Phils. Just choose the Asia-Pacific region in HP site. Shipping fee must be shouldered by the consumer.

hehe it's alright. i'm excited with Win7. it's kinda expensive though. just got myself a new Dell laptop which runs Vista. and i do not want to mess with it in just less than two weeks. LOL

maayo unta naa sila "upgrade CD" for Win7 and not necessarily the full copy para pud mas ma engganyo ang Vista users mu upgrade ug Win7 with lesser cost.

I did. It's only for Vista Ultimate new purchases (qualified for free upgrade). I only got Vista Home Basic. hehe

its weird I qualified for the free upgrade but my product number of my hp laptop is invalid and my vista is 64 bit and my upgrade is fixed to 32 bit
