Is it amazing that the dimensional size ratios of the Ark are used for Super tankers today. That it is the perfect design to stay afloat in adverse water conditions designed to float and stay upright. That it was the adequate size to house the required number of animals mentioned in the Bible.

There are a lot of folks making adverse claims on this topic that have never studied the Ark and actually do not know what they are talking about. Some should do a little reading before they spout off comments showing just how little they actually know. Members should comment more out of knowledge and less out of bias bigoted ignorance. It cheapens the quality of the discussion and debate.

The Flood event was between 6,000-13,000 years ago dependind on who is trying to do the math. If it is 13,000 years than it would predate the oldest trees existing today by 2,000 years. This would render reading tree rings a futile exercise.

The Genesis Story: If 1/3 of the worlds oceans were actually deep ground artisan water that cracked through the earths crust and spewed water over 24 miles into the sky collapsing the second water canopy with provide the other 1/3 of the earths surface water, due to the sudden collapse of this second atmosphere. Then the earth would have been covered by 1/3 salt water and 2/3 fresh water, which is a mild brackish brine that fresh water fish would have been able to survive in. The Salt water life would have had the most difficulty surviving, Salt water life unable to adapt to fresh water would nave died, freshwater fish would have survived. Moreover freshwater fish that could adapt to oceans returning salt water, mainly due to the constant runoff of minerals off of the land masses, would still exist today.

So if there were a massive flood event we would have to have:
a.) If we have massive artisan water events pushing mud from as deep as 14 miles in the earth, which would displace massive amounts of mud, enough mud to possibly blanket whole valleys, land masses, and would quickly bury entire ecosystems. There would be massive cracks in the earth's surface, and even signs of deep erosive features where the falling heavy water mass would have carved out deep canyons, pitted land masses, deep carved waterways, and signs of deep erosion which would still scare the earth's surface.

b.) Massive distinction of salt water life forms, encased in mud to allow abundant fossilized records.

c.) Fresh water lifeforms adaptable to live in the oceans.

d.) Massive mud layers that trapped diverse land based ecosystems rapidly enough the allow fossilized records.

Oh that is right we have that, hum?
To bad that when you carbon date a fossil you do not actually date the fossil, rather you can only date the mud it was encased in. Which brings up an intersting question.

If a dog was buried 13,000 years ago was buried by mud 130 million years old. You dig up the dog's bones and you carbon date his fossil. How old is the dog and when did he die?
Carbon dating will say that he is 130 million years old, and some Atheist scientist with an agenda will swear the dog is 130 million years old, which is proof there is no Bible or God. See the problem?
