coz their product are engineered to perfection.. lets accept apple are hardware and software engineer.. kung kaya lang unta nako mopalit jud ko sa ila products but as of now dili kaya.. heheheh.. hackintosh lang sa ko.. my hackintosh 10.5.8 can still run faster... soon.. i will have a mac pro.. or if maka core i7 snow leopard ako target nextweek.. need to buy extra HD for SL

engineered to perfection? i don't think so. mas maayo lang mo build ug hype ang apple. mao mailad dayon ang tawo bisan almost double ang ila i-price sa mac with a hardware that is not that great compared to a pc with the same price.

naka setup ug administer ko ug macs and pcs cross platform networking before pero mas ganahan gyudko sa windows for office use kay lumsan ka sa applications for windows maru gyud kaayo si bill gates, ok ang mac for graphics and personal use para nako. interms of business application programming kahibalosadko mo program for mac pero mas nindot gyud ang programming sa windows for business applications. pero gaming ayaw nalang windows gyudko bisan windows 7 dili ko ganahan, windows xp ako maka duwa ka ug daghan nindot nga games. buang mangud kaayo ko ug games uy. windows gyud ako.

PC ko kai kon mopalit ka MAC ... same ra sa specs sa i7 then ang i7 maka gaming naka.... nya kusod ang rendering sa mga 3d application

di na na malalis, pc ofcourse, hasol kaayu ang mac, dili ma install ang ubang programs kay ngita ug windows... err.. cant install FRITZ Chess....

I also would disagree that Macs are engineered to perfection. Almost perfection is what I would say. That's what all companies aim for[PC makers, Apple, etc...]. Then again, even if you engineer a product to near perfection, there are bound to be bugs here and there.

As for a choice between a Mac or PC, it all boils down to personal preference. PCs are more versatile because you can install a whole lot of applications. If you are a gamer, go for a PC because it's very easy to upgrade the components. They are also less painful on the wallet than a Mac.

Based on what I know, upgrading a Mac is limited to the point of sale [like when you customize it on the Apple site before you buy it], or you can get the ridiculously expensive Mac Pro whic I think you can upgrade like a PC. Then again, I also think that the Mac Pro upgrade options post purchase are limited.

Just my2 cents.

Macbook user na ko for almost 2years..and no problems pa jud ko sa ako mac so far, most specially sa viruses, wa pa jud ko kasuway mgk.virus, no need to install antivirus sd..

and dili man sad ko gamer gud, so i would prefer to use a mac, pero if games mn lng gani storyahn, PC nlng jd ko..and if gusto man gani ko maginstall og games sa mac, aw dghn ana sa torrents and no worries pa sa virus..limited jud nuon ang application pwede m.instal, but at least ang mga apps na ako knahngln jd naa sd sa mac like PS and MS Office..then again, if ganahan ko mg windows, pwede ra mg.instal og windows sa mac using boot camp or pwede dungn sila mg.run sa macbook, side by side sila sa ako screen using Parallel (one brain, two OS)..hehe..heard about hackintosh, pero lahi ra jud ang magbalhin2 ka og mac to windows at the same time.. =)

good thing sad nka timing ko gbaligya ni sa ako ang macbook for only 50k pesos, secondhand less than 1yr used from US, but great deal na sad knowing wa pa ko n.problema ani for 2yrs na and knowing it's a mac for 50k lng.. =)

that's my story why i preferred mac than pc, thank you nlng sd sa windows kay sa iya ko first nkat.on og gamit og comp, but para nako naa may mas nndt niabot gd..hehe..

Eversince I was a student, Windows na jud ang akoang nailhan. Siya ang gatudlo kung unsaon pagbuhat sa sayon/dali ang mga butang nga angay buhaton. Pero, pagsugod nako ug trabaho, sa akoang "first job", kay naka encounter ko ni MAC. At first, dili pako mohikap niya kay mahadlok ko maguba. Pero samtang nilabay ang panahon, nailhan nako si MAC.

Na realize nako nga nakit-an na nako ang "GOD" sa mga computers.

Akoa ni i-explain. Before sa estudyante pa ko, engineering akoang kurso, so basically, mao to ang time nga mag duwa-duwa ko sa mga PC before; mag utingkay sa hardware, software, programming, games, ug uban nga mabuhat nimo sa PC... maka ingon ko nga i was in my "GEEK MODE".

Pero, pag work na nako, unsaon man nako si FATE nga iyaha man ko gibutang sa "ART" side. Unya, nataymingan nga ang gigamit ng computer kay MAC. Unya, nigawas ang akoang pagka "GEEK MODE", good thing kay naapil ko sa IT department namo for a while. Then didto nako na appreciate si MAC. From hardware to software and it's advantages and disadvantages (games)...

So para nako, sa akoang "CREATIVE MODE" (video editing, sound design, VFX), i prefer to use MAC. Ug sa akoang "GEEK MODE" (assemble, games), mag PC ko.
