hello, kinsa nag-collect dinha ug anime figures?

asa man mo mamalit dinhi sa cebu. naa nako figures from singapore and japan nako napalit.

naa mn pud ko nakit-an dnhi sa mga malls pero klaro kaayo nga imitation, nagkayamokat lang ang paint sa mga sanina ug sa face hehe naa pud original pero gamay ra kaau available, mostly DBZ, One Piece ug pokemon ra naa.

daghan na mn ko nakit-an nagposts dnhi sa ila pics. so sa kadto mga collectors, asa mo nagbuy? kana mga authentic jud ba..

unforutnately, wala dire nagbaligya specialty shops/stores na nagbaligya ug "authentic" anime figures.. naa usually on some shops/stores but it's either gi consign or the toy itself doesn't have a known/reported bootleg counterpart.

i collect anime figures as well.. and to be safe i get them abroad nalang gyd through online shops (Japan and Hongkong based that is).. naa uban sa akong collection kay pinalit rapud from other collectors na nagstreamline before, of which what i'm doing right now pud (check my sale thread lang haha.. shameless plug again! lol) i can't even rely much on manila shops lately since some well known stores there are starting to carry "bootleg" figures and mix them up with the rest...

i've seen some selling anime figures as well, just ask them if they're authentic.. price is already an indication if it's bootleg or authentic, as a collector i can sell and pass some of my collectibles sa uban but i don't see it selling them at lower than half its cost/srp..

wala ko nadayun ug test buy sa otacute, made some slight changes sa akong plans (shifted back to updating my macross collection instead since i'm already feeling a bit guilty with all those anime fig hauls and not even a single mecha from my main line)

as for play-asia, wala pagyd ko kasulay buy sa ilaha bai, but there are a few people who have bene getting their stuff from that site, they deliver for free pud.. yun nga lang dugay maabot and no tracking for your item.

as for the local shop i'm referring.. no need to worry about the second one, since he doesn't handle online transaction man pud.. anyway if you're still eager then just hit me a pm over yahoo nalang, full na akong inbox dire.
