John 3
19 - And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 - For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

You probably mistaken HALLOWEEN ang ALL SAINTS and SOULS DAY which is ang Nov 1 and 2 respectively . Sayop ka 'nyor .
These are all TRADITIONS .... no crime done . DOnt forget that without celebrations , walay structure ang Christians unless ang dili Katoliko kay ang celebration na gipasabot kay kana mag wave2 sa kamot unya kuyap kuyap , hilak hilak maka dungog sa testimonies , etc .
" A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. " - 2nd Amendment , Bill of Rights of the United States of America
yes... even non Christians can also celebrate... all of us wants to be happy and part of any celebration... like fiesta, ganahan kaayo ta mamista, even dili Katoliko mamista man gani bisag di mutuo ug santos... same ra pud ni sa mga atheist nga mag celebrate ug Christmas![]()

I think Halloween is not one of the christian's holyday. It aught to be a day to remember our dear dead family members, instead it has been turned into a commercial spectacular or simply a much awaited excuse to go on a holiday, a time to get drunk in the cemetery- party time!
But what the heck, does it mean we only remember the dead during this specific time? Honestly, I really don't remember much of the dead...I considered them the lucky ones. Sure, I miss the person, but their death never saddened me...quite the opposite, it gladdened me that they're off from this shitty place...
Two to three generations from the time you rot in your grave, you will be forgotten...nobody cares for you, unless you did something world shaking deeds or invention that might cause your life story to land in history books. Still, that seems to me only a pity consolation...
We will be forgotten, "..like tears in the rain"...to dust we shall return indeed..unless there is God.
