so why is it that GMA7 "jessica soho" who televise ear cropping and debarking procedure on dogs and the veterinarian who perform the surgery was not banned and filed a case by PAWS/PETA?? so where is your RA8485 there?? so where is the teeth as what you've mention?? because in the philippine law ear cropping was not considered animal cruelty just like what you want to imply!! just read and understand the RA8485 before you comment here!!

yup!! correct ka bro!! because they have anesthesia before the surgery.. with regards with ear cropping,debarking and other serious operations are GENERAL ANESTHESIA was given to the dog, so they are unconcious during the surgery, just like other operations in humans. and after the operations veterinarians prescribe medicine for the fast healing of wounds and recovery of dog. so where is the cruelty there? could you say its cruelty to animals

how long do you think that general anesthesia will last? as soon as the effect of the anesthesia subsides, you think the wound is already healed? how long will the wound be healed? as the wound is healing, you believe so that your dog is enjoying it? cmon guys....that's HOW long your dog suffers...tell me now if it's not true.

the RA clearly says do not do undue harm to your pets ....... and you can't even enumerate here the solid basis why ears must be cropped.

- i know damn well anesthesia will not last that long, but as part of the medical operation healing process would take long enough , but have u heared about "antibiotic?" , painfull is such an overrated word for the process of healing, AFAIK after my dog was crop it ddnt feel any,

What is cruel is feeding crappy dog food. Leaving a dog to live outside, not training your dog, hitting your dog, tying your dog out, not providing proper vet care, allowing a dog to suffer, trying home remedies rather than treating things properly, people who breed their pets too young, leaving your dog along for hours and hours every day.. Not including your dog as part of the family.. Not treating your dog like a dog.. eating dogmeat.. letting them join in a dog fight match..There are far more things that people do daily, that are far more cruel than ear cropping and tail docking.. But these people who are against cropping ears are the very same people who leave their dogs tied in the back yard ... If you want the ears cropped, it's your right to have it done, don't listen to what others tell you. If you don't want to do the after care, don't think you can do it properly, then leave them natural.
