got my kawa curve earlier...what can i say, i'm lovin' the first 11kms i rode on it so far...

napansin ko lang...head turner sya sa mga naka Mio and Mio Soul...yung ibang motorista na ibang bike ang dala...parang balewala lang...hehehe...just another bike...

here are my first impressions...pasensya na kung ikukumpara ko sya sa honda beat....it's because i'm also riding a honda beat din...

1. looks...well since bago, so kakaiba sya...pero medyo hawig nga ng mio soul...
i'm loving the cat's eye...it serves as the pilot lamp...or the AHO...but looks more astig to me...
2. seat...the cushion is 7 out of 10...the honda beat can't compare to how cushiony the seat is...even the kymco Super8 seat(i tried to sit on one) is a concrete compared to the kawa curve seat....on Honda beat, 30 minutes of riding will result to an insensitive manoy and balls..(manhid na sya kumbaga...hehe...)...
3. acceleration...i give a plus on honda beat...although i can't say the verdict yet since 11kms palang takbo nya and i'm planning to do a soft break-in...meron 2-3 seconds delay bago kumagat yung gear...not sure but that's what i felt...
4. sound...kapag naka idle ka sa traffic...nakupo kala mo namatay na yung makina, pero pag twist mo ng throttle...umaandar pala...
5. gas tank capacity...hindi ko pa sukat...i'm planning to fill it up by thursday...para maconfirm ko din kung gaano kalaki ang tank nya talaga...5 or 6.2 liters...not sure yet...
6. floor board...ayus, maisasakay ko na yung tanke ng gasul namin...the beat...hay naku, siguro posporo lang kakasya sa floor board...
7. ubox...whoa...kasya yata isang sanggol sa loob...although hindi kasya ang half face helmet...tabo helmets will fit just fine..but i ain't gonna use a tabo to protect my head...
8. wheels...tubeless...nice 3 spoke mags..medyo slim tyres nga lang...but heck they are IRC NR80 tyres...subok na ang IRC sa kapit...although advice sa manual na i-break-in muna ang tyres ng 160kms para full traction na sya...i will plan in the future to get wider tyres...for now...satisfied na ako kahit medyo payat sya...
9. when it comes to modifications, the carb, engine, spark plug, are all easily accessible...hopefully racing parts for this bike will be supported by our retailers in the future...but i do see a potential kung modder ka...unlike sa honda beat...kahit marami ng racing parts, eh tatamarin ka na buksan ang body para lang mailagay ang mga parts upgrades mo...

comparable po pa ang floorboard nito sa kymco topboy 100? sana konte lang difference or pareho lang kc need ko ung floorboard to carry things like CPU, CRT monitor or new printer in box.
