Before, ang ako quota sa ako kaugalingon is 50-70 applications in one day. And i sleep at around 2am na most of the days.

    Good Luck again.

Basta mao na Bossing, just beat the odds in numbers jud. Not necessarily nga parehas kadaghan sa ako gibuhat.

    ...anyway, that's what i did.
    I hope makatabang ni.
Nice strategy. I happen to belong on the same field as yours. Kumusta man sad ang hiring diha sa accounting/auditing/finance ? Kasagaran man pud gud kay part of the experience kay exposure on SAP, Solomon and etc. Maybe maka share ka ug tips.

2006 Appy na pud ko sa Jobsdb singapore, was interviewed 3 times by phone while I was still in Cebu (interviews lasted 30-40 mins. by long distance call at a time, mostly technical). They faxed and emailed the offer letter 3 days after my last phone interview with them. I signed the offer letter and faxed/emailed it to them with along with the other requirements for EP processing the next day. I got a confirmation that they applied for my EP the following day, it took 1 week to wait for the EP approval, they sent me by mail the IPA (In principle approval letter) from MOM - All this took almost 3 weeks from interview to EP Approval.

After this, I sent my resignation letter to my current employer (1 month notice period). My Singapore employer, bought the plane tickets which I received the following week (E-tickets through Singapore Airlines). After servicing my 1 month notice period, larga ko Singapore, my employer has paid for the 2 week hotel stay before I moved to the company guest house. They also gave me a 1 month signing bonus which I used para mangita ug kapuy-an after sa libre nga 1 month accommodation from my employer (2 weeks hotel and 2 weeks at the guest house).
Kanindot gud sa imong package. Ako kay free 1 week stay, no signing bonus. Pero siguro at this time (recession, though economy slowly in its recovery), you can't really ask for a lot.
Ako kay sa monster.com. They called, scheduled the interview, and got hired ra pud. IPA was received a day later I sent the application form. I was too ecstatic to hear that I was accepted (gikapoy na ko sa akong present job), ni-yes na dayun ko sa offer (which i regret moments later kay I realized I shouldve asked for more). Ge lang, pwede ra man guro mobawi, tinud-an lang ang work.

Last time, kato pag-ari nako, ako gidala is P15k (S$500) ra!
Fortunately, i didnot have to pay for rental on my first month kay my friend paid it for me man.
And fortunately pa jud, no need na ko mangayo og additional budget from home kay nakakita man dayon ko work.

Pocket Money is medyo lisod kwentahon kay depende man ni sa tao god.
Most probably, S$1.3K or around P43k karon is safe for one month.

    Breakdown:
    - room......... $600
    - food.......... $300
    - transpo...... $200
    - phonecard.. $200

IT guru man ka, so i assume naa ka imo kaugalingon nga laptop. So, gamay nalang imo bayaran for wireless internet connection.

If makakita ka'g room sharing, mas gamay imo gastuhon for room rental.

Food - kay bag-o pa man ka diri, dili ka makakita dayon og mga medyo barato pero lami nga pagkaon. You would end-up eating at Lucky Plaza (mura'g Little Philippines nga shopping center diri) nga medyo mahal-mahal diotay.

Transpo - EZ link ang style diri for Buses & Trains - efficient kaayo. Pero kana ako gibutang nga budget, apil na ana ang for taxi in-case naa kay urgent nga interview

Phone card - depende sa imo consumption. On my first few months, i end up spending more than this. Kay sige man tawag sa pamilya diha sa ato.

You are from IT man, dala jud ka imo laptop, klaro kaayo. So, share nalang sa WIFI ang imo bayaran, gamay ra.

And you are a "tech guy", so i think you would want to buy some gadgets. So, increase your budget.

    .............
Ako current monthly expenses for all these is less than S$600 nalang! Dont be shocked.
It looks very gamay and unbelievable. But everything depends on your standard-of-living.
For me, this is all i need to live comfortably diri. Room sharing man god, with aircon, so gamay ra rental.
