CocoPlans with DATAMEX scholarship - scam or not

mao na jud na imo 12T+ di na jud na nimo ma bawi. Ang ako lang unta wala na naka auto charge sa imo credit card.

Bayaran nalang jud na nimo para malimpyo imo credit line nya ipa change account ka or unsa ba ang mahimo para dili naka macharge ug prudential insurance.

i also got a scholarship from datamex thru cocoplans and an accident insurance for free.they told me to bring identification cards and a secondary ID such as credit cards but i did not bring my credit card. i only showed them my ID. i wasn't billed or anything for that matter. i called datamex re the scholarship,and they said that i only have to pay the miscellaneous fees for 3500 per semester. i guess,this isn't a scam then.i havent enrolled though...will just update this thread if anything crops up...

Got also this message today by cocoplans . It states that He is Jo Alforque of cocoplans inc and said that im 1 of the 20 winners of free scholarship,personal & accdnt insurance plus other rewerds. He also give me the claiming code plus the phone number to call (4124692). What amazed me is that he knows my name...I really think this is a scam since i didnt join any raffles or whatsoever with regards to cocoplans then why did i win.. Hope Cocoplans could check this so that they could also clear there name...

unya ang imo scholarship sis? datamex is acredited by tesda.

i got the scholarship but wala nko gamita la sad ko ng inquire sa datamex. i dnt have intentions to use it kay dili ko modaun atong insurance ug wa sad ko bayad sa credit card company.

Thanks guys... I got one too.. Just now.. I am one of the 20 lucky winners daw.. Then I asked how did they get my contact details and my name the person called me said that maybe some friends of mine refered my number and my name. And one thing that I don't understand is why they need a credit card for a secondary ID. I'm really not interested in things like this kay kahibaw ko wala naman siguro ug libre karon. And thanks also nakabasa ko ani na forum..

Ok. So someone called me sa ako office jud na he's from Coco Plans daw. Details include the Datamex thing, etc., you already know. This just happend 20 minutes ago, and I told the guy na moadto ra ko sa Coco Plans building (6th floor) ugma sa udto.

So, what do you guys think? Should I go for it? Nagduha-duha man jud ko kung tinuod ba ni or dili.

I also got a text message to day saying the Cocoplans, Inc. is celebrating its 15th Anniv and i won free accident insurance and computer scholarship certificates.

I don't know how they got my number but i called the landline, gave them the code and i will go there tomorrow morning. Nangutana pud ko in advance kung naa ba bayronon or any extra charges pero wala daw.. I will go there tomorrow pero if something fishy comes up i will not accept it. Especially kung pa bayron ko ug something.

It's really good that your are discussing this because kabalo nako unsaon nako.. Di pud ko magdala sako credit card ug di ko musugot kung naay auto debit or something... I'll reply tomorrow so you will know what happened.
