OT: The core difference between meditation and sleep is that during meditation your mind needs to be clear but focused where as during sleep, you do not want to be focused you want nothing to be focused in your mind and you want your body and mind to get to that point where you shutdown.

Thanks Sir have 3 albums on my collection.

The cultures of antiquity believed that music could bring about a renewal of the divine balance that ideally characterizes human life; that it could restore the harmony of the human psyche in times of disquite and distress. Indeed, the ancients regarded all forms of sickness – mental or physical – as being ultimately musical problems
In music man feels the reflection 0f the inmost life 0f things , A life related to his 0wn.
Because feelings are the most inward part of Atman and it is because they are related t0 the spiritual domain and are indwelt by musical sound. Thats why man when he listens to music lives in the delectation 0f feeling himself in harmony with its tones and in touch with the true home 0f his spirit.

what am i going to focus on if i empty my mind? when you are asleep, especially before an exam, you are focused... hows that different? also, being asleep do not mean you shutdown... thats why dreams are made so we get in touch of the outside world... do you know why birds dont fall out from the trees? its because dreams let the mind stay in between reality and total blackout...
