Unless there's a serious research conducted about the matter, and there are research findings to back up your claim, I seriously doubt that the lack of street lights is a major contributor of road accidents. I personally think vehicular accidents that occur on provincial roads are caused by three main reasons:

1. Reckless driving

2. falling asleep while driving (not being alert)

3. Lack of situational awareness on part of the driver

A vehicle has lights, that's what its for. Kung kabalo ka nga wala diay suga diha dapita nga naay kantil ug kurbada, mo-paspas gihapon diay ka'g padagan? Recklessness = stupidity
