No. Cats do not know when a man is about to die. Whatever "creepy" circumstances that occurred surrounding the death of a man (i.e. cat seemed to "know" about his death) is pure coincidence.

a cat senses the discomfort/fear when a man thinks he is about to die.. domestic pets have empathic concerns(not to be confused with empathy).. quid pro quo for the love and care given by their owners.. hehe..
