USJ-R Masscom students once again clinched 1st place in the ABS-CBN Campus Patrol contests held at the St. Theresa’s College Auditorium on Aug. 21.
The USJ-R Masscom team garnered three major awards namely: Best News Casting Team, Best News Coverage, and Reporter of the Year, besting seven other teams from the different participating schools.
Proponents of the USJ-R News Casting Team were: Eda Marie Enclomar, Girem Alberio, Ryan Sorote, Grace Melanie Lacamiento, Jose Lewis Gachalian, Alfred Quirante, and Kimberly Clark Pasu-it.
Nico Ivan Velasquez, Patrick Tabada, and Da Vinci Maru composing the USJ-R News coverage Team soared high and landed on the top spot in the canned News coverage competition.
In addition, the Reporter of the Year award was cinched by Da Vinci Maru. Two Josenians also bagged another award in the CAMS Got Talent Contest. Rachel Puray and Leo Neil Pintor’s talents bagged the 2nd place.

USJ-R Masscom Coordinates is champion in the ABS-CBN Campus Patrol Contests for the second consecutive year. 2009 is Year 4 of the ABS-CBN Campus Patrol Contests.
