Nikon DSLR vs. Canon DSLR

meaning u switched because of the service center issue.. this is the common reason why people choose canon.. ang track record ba sa canon dali ra ma guba?

I think both brands are good. It's just like which is better? BMW or Mercedes Benz?

If the Manila Nikon service wouldn't have messed up my camera I would have stayed with Nikon.
They also messed up the shutter of a friend of mine and when he had it checked in HongKong the HK service confirmed that the service in Manila were the ones who screwed it up. Sorry but I can't afford to go to HK every time I have a problem. Just don't have the budget for this.

Also I listened to the advice of Benjie whom I know for 7 years and with whom I shared some common interests like Airsoft and practical shooting. When I was planning to upgrade from my P&S I asked him what he would recommend which was Canon. I have been using Canon for the last 2 years and I'm very happy with it.
