I've read online in some papers and even on official Comelec web page that throughout October they would be extending their office hours from Monday-SATURDAY 8am-7pm including Holidays.

So I went to the Comelec office near City Hall last Saturday and met this same female described here in these threads. I arrived at 4:33 p.m. and was told that their cutoff was at 4 p.m. I told I clearly saw on their web site that even on Saturday they would close at 8 p.m. so why is the cutoff at 4? She told me that on Saturday they close at 5 p.m. Feeling it useless to argue with her I let this go. All my papers were already filled out and I asked he if she can just accommodate me but no luck.

Anyway, I'm still going back to register, but her lack of customer service skill (customer because she works for me a tax payer) of this very same lady sure did leave a bad taste in my mouth.

P.S. I've also tried to find any contact number of the Comelec Office in Cebu and either I can't find it or it's not in service. I'd sure like to tell her boss about my experience. If anyone has this info, it would be much appreciated.

Naay isa ka comelec offce dre sa cebu nga naay cut off nga 50 sa buntag og 50 napud after 1pm. Gisumbong pa bitaw namo sa amo kaila nga comelec officer piti lagi. Sakto ba na magquota-quota, mangihap og trabahuon. MAo if naa mo reklamo, go to the right channel so something could be done.

If makaencounter mog similar experience like ni TS, ivideo nya ninyo nya isubmit sa mga media outfits para kitang katag.
