does this mean na ang kani na thread para sa works done with sprays? i think its regardless kung mahalon or baratuhon imu medium. my point is that dre sa cebu ang art scene dire wala ra nagtuyok sa graffiti, daghan pud medium gigamit. its not graffiti alone that u see on the streets. we are talking about works sa streets. "ipakita ang agi sa dan". makaporma kag graffiti maski dili mahalon na spray imung gamiton. just tell me if this thread is strictly for graffiti only, if ull only read from the first post to the last, u can see there's more than graffiti in here. one more thing, graffiti and street art doesnt set any limitation. way magbout sa artist maski papel pa ug zoy iya gamitun, as long as he is making art.

Yes, sakto ka na graffiti and street art does not set any limitation - kung "art-wise" or "creativity-wise" but not the medium. It's like saying you play hiphop music and you call and label your music as punk. There maybe no limit to influences but there are and or may be certain limits to labeling - as to "street art" there are land or may be certain limits to medium if you refer to a specific type of "street art".
Yes, naay daghan diri na nag-post ug "street art" works pero no one really cared if it's not "pure graffiti" not until now when the comparison between stenciling against spray painting against "murals" (mao na siya ang pag-gamit sa katong pintal na dili spray ha) against wheatpasting was brought up. etc. - because it would not be fair to compare the "detail" of a spray painted work against the a "detail" of a work done by non-spray painted medium.

mao lagi.. regardless sa price of the medium used. it is still art... no need to differentiate graffiti from street art.
