God is just a concept nothing more nothing less...experience it for yourself or die without knowing there is a GOD within you!

The GOD within me is my subconscious mind that never sleeps even when I am asleep. It controls all my mental, my biological, emotional and spiritual processes

if god were truly a singular entity in the end, he'd be laughing really hard..
why? because everything evolved, argued, had s*x, aggressively killed each other, made love, broken hearts, romantic endeavors, religious high, scientific ahas.. all for the sake of having an infinite knowledge in the end..

he'd be laughing his arse really hard looking at us making fools of ourselves.. i'd drink a toast to that anytime..

that is, if god is a singular entity..

why is that so? to answer my own thread question, i do believe GOD exists in individuals' minds.

Its because his ARGUMENTS are based on the EXISTENCE of SUPREME BEING , not about God . We tend to block it because St Thomas is a Catholic saint but it has nothing to do with God . Even if he is a muslim , people would still question him " ABOUT " ALLAH .

And thats the very reason on why such argument and nobody else made a point talking about God because He is OMNICIENT and OMNIPOTENT . Whereabouts , that is .

there is a flaw on your logic. just because God is regarded as omnipotent doesn't give us a proof of his existence. his arguments point to one concept only---infinity. if God was omnipotent, he would have used his omnipotence to change the course of human history. he would have killed Hitler to prevent the Genocide.

It could be . How IRONIC would that be if these are THEIST ? Again ... if that was established , nobody answered it yet sa kadtong question from a poster on " WHO PUT THESE or WHO HARDWIRED these in our BRAINS ? i could see why St. Thomas Aquinas put forth his "proofs" of God. you wouldn't really expect him to study Evolution, would you? thus, had he been studying evolution, i think he would be not be coming up with this ridiculous "proofs", instead, he would be like the author of that article i posted, IMO.

That is beside the point . The EXISTENCE of God alone should convince you . Even if say one person can provide you with the answers of WHERE , HOW and WHAT ... you still wont be convinced because you will end up with another question pertaining to something that has not been answered yet . is it because you being an ATHEIST is by choice ?

i don't think it would ever convince me. unless of course i die, and if there happens to be a God, then he would be happy for me for being courageous. if he asks me why i don't believe in him, i'd answer him back "not enough evidence!"

We would not know because he did not live in our lifetime but left only legacies and proof's . Like I said , Catholic or not , the God we are referring to is a SUPREME BEING .

One of the very reasons why we should believe in God because of the existence of GOOD and EVIL . What do you think would happen if its only GOOD or EVIL ?

You have a point but then we are discussing the EXISTENCE of a SUPREME BEING thus why there is such a statement " WHY HUMANS BELIEVE IN A GOD " . People wont waste time in believing for nothing so its the very reason why we believe because there is sucha thing to believe on . It only sounds REDICULOUS because ATHEIST would have hard time accepting the 5 arguments of St. Thomas Aquinas .

Nothing is wrong with that . Heck if there is no God at all either , THEIST would not mind wasting all those BELIEFS because it put MEANING into their respective lives in the afterlife if thre is one .

if God exists in individuals' minds, then the result of that would be religious arrogance and prejudice claiming their God is better than others..

but God simply is not, and cannot be contained.. that's why its God.. otherwise it would cease to be God..

all the religious texts in the world only barely describe God, and people are already claiming that their god is right and the way to heaven.. which is sad.. that is the idolized god..

God does not need individual minds to exist.. it simply is..
