first nako palit ug gamit gamit nako permi ka generic UV filter.....

Unya nag palit ko ug hoya CPL....

ang pangutana nako if kahinanglan pa ba ko mag gamit ug UV filter kung mag gamit ko ug CPL hoya?

or pwedi ra Hoya CPL lang ditsu ako gamit wala na UV filter?

Pwede nmo dunganon pero I would suggest using one at a time kay mo-degrade ang quality sa sharpness sa lens. Kay sa ako experience I have both UV and CPL place together blurry ang edges sa subject and bati gyud ang result.

Use only the CPL. The Hoya CPL would produce a good IQ but then this will be degraded by the generic UV filter.

You don't really need to stack them since the UV would not produce any effect. Remember also that stacking filters would lead to vignetting.

for landscapes/seascapes of course. my kit lens+cpl is okey but dili lang sharp enough ang landscapes even at lowest aperture.
i'll probably get an ND4 pero unya na lang tingale if naa nay wide-angle lens (crossing fingers) pra cguradong sakto ang size.. need more inputs/advices diri about NDs..

Get a 3-stop ND for waterfalls, or for smoothing waves.

Get a 9-stop or 10-stop filter for those streaking cloud effect and smoky water effect.

pwede ra bro, CPL is not really exclusive for outdoor lng, anything na mk.cause og glaring or reflections nya gusto nimo tangtangon na pwede ka mgmit og CPL, example is kanang light reflections sa mga shiny furnitures sa balay nya m.reflect ang light nya di ka gnhn, pwede ra nimo gmtan og CPL..mk.decrease lng nuon og few stops ang CPL..

Another question.. Maka cause ba "chromatic abberation" (if it's the right term) ang square filters? If so, how to avoid or minimize it?

Nipalit gud ko generic then gi testingan nko, weird ang result naay fringes ang edges sa subject/s.
