360 og PS3 nalang brad. 360 for the best online experience. PS3 for AAA exclusives.

Why is 360 online better than free PS3 online: (The only real advantage the 360 has over the PS3)

-voice chat anytime and anywhere in and out of any game with another person or a group online.

-Join a friend's game anywhere within the game seamlessly. For example, you are playing single player
story mode of modern warfare when your friend suddenly invites you to a multiplayer game you can instantly go to that multiplayer game without having to exit to the main menu for you to join just by simply accepting his invitation on the prompt screen. You don't like your teammates in the multiplayer session join any other session effortlessly by choosing "JOIN GAME" option from the XBL prompt screen instantaenously!

-better dashboard interface/presentation for easy navigation to anything you want to see like friend's real time game status, profiles, see friends of friends, etc. and access to demos, add-ons, games which is usually earlier on the 360 than the PS3.

-If your in the states you get to enjoy netflix.

Exclusive FPS shooter games like HALO 3, Gears of War 2, Left for Dead.

If you are the type of a gamer that prefers to have friends playing with you with better and easy online experience then go with the 360.

Advantages of PS3 over 360:

-AAA exclusive games like Metal Gear Solid 4 and MGS series, God of War III and the GoW series. Uncharted 1 & 2, Demon's Souls, and Gran Turismo.

-More somewhat future-proof in the next ten years as it is the superior hardware of this gen showcased by superior graphics of 1st-party games like uncharted 2, Gran Turismo 5, and God of War III. If you are planning not to upgrade to the next gen around 2012 better get this one.

-Blu-ray player.

If you prefer to play alone most of the time get the best single player games here. You can also play multiplayer games over PSN as it is free but definitely not better than XBoxLive Online.

Wi-fi or not does not matter when you are gaming.

I suggest get the console which best suits your needs at the moment and then go buy the other one the next time. Best of both worlds. I know cause I have 3 consoles this gen PS3, 360, and Wii.

You sir are delusional. No one in their right mind would recommend a gamer the Wii for their first current gen system. Unless they were buying it for their parents or kids.
