i cannot see why you cannot see the obvious similarities of Kenya to the Inquisition. I'm sure there are other atrocities in the past not related to Christianity that is similar to this one.. its just the inquisition that exemplifies it most remembered in history.

the inquisition is not a nice thing, even the catholic church wants to atone for its sins in the past.

Of course if you say it's all about fear then it is and burning people is not right. But I am more inclined to have more pity for those people in Kenya who burn alleged witches than with the Church's authorities who burned Joan of Arc. The former did it out of pure animal fear (perhaps out of ignorance) while the latter for plain self serving motives..
